The 12 finalists are: Baby Nancy, Bingo, Breyer Horses, Jenga, Lite-Brite, Masters of the Universe, My Little Pony, Risk, Sidewalk Chalk, Sorry !, Tamagotchi and Yahtzee.

“These 12 toys represent the wide range of toys – from simple sidewalk chalk that has its roots in ancient times, to Baby Nancy, which marked a turning point in the portrayal of the breed in dolls, to the more recent Tamagotchi and very innovative, “said Christopher Bensch, vice president of collections.” Whether old or new, or simple or high tech, these 12 toy finalists have made a huge impact on the gaming world. “

Induction criteria include: icon status, longevity, discovery and innovation.

71 toys have been inducted into the Hall of Fame so far.

The final toy inductees for 2020 will be announced on Thursday, November 5.
