Impact of diversity on vaccine equity in Algeria

Gift Aid doesn’t cost you a penny more, but can add an extra 25p to every £1 you donate. Where Minority Rights Group receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we are entitled to claim back any amount of tax (calculated at that year’s basic rate of income tax) paid on that donation. Once you have given us your permission to do this on your behalf, you do not need to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and would have paid or will pay enough income and/or capital gains tax to cover all gift aid claimed on all your donations during this taxation year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. In addition, if you are a superior taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate that we will claim and the amount of tax that you actually paid. For more details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your donations are no longer eligible for the Gift Aid program, please contact us and we will modify your file accordingly.
